The goal of this class is to teach understanding, acceptance, tolerance and patience in many circumstances and how to maneuver the minefield of political correctness socially and in the workplace. A game patterned after the popular game show, Jeopardy!®, is incorporated in the class.
This class not only explores diverse backgrounds and cultures, but also emphasizes the teaching skills that will enable the class participants to stay in tune with their own feelings about those differences.

This class will teach methods of making decisions in the workplace that will create an atmosphere of confidence through measured prioritizing of tasks. The participants will learn to put systems in place to streamline their workloads.

This skill can make or break a career, non-profit agency or corporate business. Although it may be simple to decide what comes first, it's not always easy to keep tasks and projects running smoothly when everything seems to be due at the same time.
Class attendees will learn techniques to rejuvenate themselves and their jobs. Exercises will allow participants to re-hire themselves as job duties change or become more stressful. Participants will learn the signs of burn-out and the steps to take when they first start to burn. Time is devoted to examining how to identify the right time to consider changing jobs or careers.

Participants work to develop patterns of communication that will eliminate 'misunderstandings' with clients, co-workers and supervisors. Emphasis is placed on sharpening listening skills and teaching how 'unspoken' communication can override written and oral exchanges.
